Jean David Meneses Villarroel (born 16 March 1993) is a Chilean professionalfootballer who plays as awinger forVasco da Gama and theChile national team.

Club career

In March 2018, he came to international attention for his blatantdive to win a latepenalty, which was converted for a 2–1 victory against rivalsColo-Colo in theChilean Primera División.[1][2]

On 1 August 2018, Meneses was loaned out toClub León for the rest of the season. In May 2019, it was confirmed, that Club León had redeemed the player and he would stay at the club.[3]

On 27 August 2024, he moved to Brazil and joinedVasco da Gama.[4]

International career

He made hisChile national team debut on 10 September 2019 in afriendly againstHonduras. He started the game and was substituted in the 64th minute.[5]
