Jazne (pronounced[ˈjaːznɛ]) is a settlement in the hills above theIdrijca Valley in theMunicipality of Cerkno in the traditionalLittoral region ofSlovenia.[2]
The local church is dedicated toSaint Nicholas and belongs to theParish ofOtalež.[3]

The remnants of a Roman defensive wall, theClaustra Alpium Iuliarum, lie in the southeastern part of Jazne. The wall is located south of the Lanišar farm, and it runs east of the hamlet of Znojile toward Gorenje Jazne.[4]
