TheJay Gould House was amansion located at 857Fifth Avenue at East67th Street, on theUpper East Side ofManhattan,New York City.

History

The home was constructed in the FrenchNeo-Gothic style for financierJay Gould, who later gave it to his eldest son,George Jay Gould. The younger Gould tore down the mansion in 1906, and he had theGeorge J. Gould House built in its place.[1]
