AJapanese Accepted Name (Japanese:日本医薬品一般的名称,Hepburn:Nihon Iyakuhin Ippan-teki Meishō) (JAN) is the official non-proprietary or generic name given to apharmaceuticalsubstance by theGovernment of Japan.[1][2]
