Jamie Semple (born 17 May 2001) is a Scottish professionalfootballer who plays as aforward. He has previously played forMotherwell,Cove Rangers,East Fife and now plays withGala Fairydean Rovers.
Semple joined theMotherwell youth Academy in 2014,[1] while being part of theScottish FA performance School as a pupil atBraidhurst High School.[2]
He made his first team debut forMotherwell on 27 April 2019, setting up the winning goal in injury time forDavid Turnbull in a 4–3 win at home toDundee.[3]
On 15 September 2020, Semple joinedScottish League One clubCove Rangers on a season-long loan.[4][5] His loan was ended on 1 February 2021, when he was recalled by Motherwell.[6]
Semple was released by Motherwell at the end of the 2020–21 season and he signed forEast Fife in August 2021.[7]
Semple has played atunder-17,under-18 andunder-19 level for Scotland.[8]
