Ajambon-beurre (French for 'ham-butter';pronounced[ʒɑ̃bɔ̃bœʁ]), also known as aparisien, is a Frenchham sandwich made of abaguette sliced open, spread withbutter and filled with slices ofham.[1] More than three millionjambon-beurre sandwiches are sold in France each day, more than any other kind of sandwich, except for hamburgers.[2]
