Jakob Friis-Hansen (born 6 March 1967) is a Danish former professionalfootballer who played as adefender.[3] At club level, he spent most of his career with French clubLille OSC. For theDenmark national team, he made 19 appearances.
He is an old friend of formerEngland forwardTeddy Sheringham.[4]
He was formerly a scout forLiverpool F.C., and worked as Director of the European Recruitment forSouthampton between 2011 and 2012.
