At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 2,044 in 542 households, when it was inTorqabeh Rural District ofMashhad County.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 2,459 people in 767 households,[7] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment ofBinalud County.[c] Jagharq was transferred to Jagharq Rural District created in the district.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 2,412 people in 761 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
