Jacob Collins-Levy(born 18 March 1992) is an English-Australian actor. On television, he is known for his role in theStarz seriesThe White Princess (2017), and theNetflix seriesYoung Wallander (2020) andThe Witcher: Blood Origin (2022). His films includeTrue History of the Kelly Gang (2019).
Jacob Collins-Levy was born inMelbourne, to an Australian mother and an English father.[1] He has one younger brother.
In 2012 and 2013, he took classes at the16th Street Actors Studio in Melbourne.[2]
After brief appearances in 2015, inHolding the Man[1] andGlitch,[3] Collins-Levy's first major appearance on the big screen came in 2016, as the heartless drug dealer 'Saul'[4] in the filmJoe Cinque's Consolation, which was selected for the 41stToronto International Film Festival.[5][6] Collins-Levy playedHenry VII of England in theStarz television seriesThe White Princess, set in the aftermath of theWars of the Roses, with co-starJodie Comer[7] as his wifeElizabeth of York.[8]
In 2019, Collins-Levy appeared inJustin Kurzel's filmTrue History of the Kelly Gang.[3] He played Karl-Axel Munck in the first season of the 2020Netflix crime dramaYoung Wallander,[3] and guest starred asLord Byron in theDoctor Who series 12 episode "The Haunting of Villa Diodati".[3]
In 2022, he appeared in the Netflix seriesThe Witcher: Blood Origin where he played the villain, Eredin, in a cast which includedMirren Mack,Lenny Henry, andMichelle Yeoh.[7] The same year, he was cast in theDisney+ seriesNautilus as Captain Youngblood.[9]
Collins-Levy performs on stage in his hometown of Melbourne. In 2021, he appeared in a performance ofLanford Wilson'sBurn This atfortyfivedownstairs,[10] in 2023 he portrayedCount Orlok in theMalthouse Theatre stage adaptation ofNosferatu,[11] and he playedHamlet in 2024.[12]
