Jack Sebastian Wakely (born 25 October 2000) is an English former professionalfootballer who played as adefender.
Jack began his career atChelsea at under-9 level, turning professional in 2017.[3] He moved on loan toBasingstoke Town in January 2019,[3] and toBrighton & Hove Albion in February 2021.[4] He left Chelsea in the summer of 2021, signing withWycombe Wanderers in July 2021.[5] On 25 March 2022, Wakely joinedNational League sideMaidenhead United on loan for the remainder of the 2021–22 season.[6] Wakely joinedEbbsfleet United on loan for the entirety of the 2023–24 season.[7]
He was released by Wycombe at the end of the 2023–24 season.[8]
On 5 October 2024, Wakely signed forEbbsfleet United.[9] He retired from professional football in April 2025, at the age of 24.[10]
