Jack Stephen John Sims (born 10 March 1999) is an Englishfootballer who plays as agoalkeeper forNational League clubSutton United.
Sims started his career with local side,Canvey Island before spending six years atSouthend United and then eventually joiningBlackpool as a 16-year old.[3] Prior to making hisFootball League debut in December 2019, during a 1–0 defeat toAcrrington Stanley, replacing an injuredJak Alnwick with 60 minutes remaining, Sims enjoyed loan spells at bothSkelmersdale United andLancaster City (where he earned the player of the season award) between 2017 and 2019.[4][5] At the conclusion of the 2020–21 campaign, Sims was released upon the expiry of his contract.
In October 2021, he made the move toNational League South side,Welling United and went onto 24 times in all competitions winning three consecutive player of the months in the process before joiningBraintree Town ahead of the 2022–23 campaign.[6][7]
On 7 June 2024, Sims was announced to have departed Braintree Town having been unable to agree a new contract.[8] Later that same day, he joinedNational League sideSutton United.[9]
