Jack Remmington (born 12 October 1994) is an Englishsocial media influencer and presenter. After appearing as a contestant on thefourteenth series ofThe X Factor in 2017, he has gone on to amass an online following through social media. He has gone on to host various series, including fronting a podcast with close friendAsh Holme and co-presenting variousBBC Radio shows and podcasts.
Remmington was born on 12 October 1994 inGainsborough, Lincolnshire.[1][2] He is gay.[3] He studied atKeble College at theUniversity of Oxford, where he became friends with singer Joel Fishel. Together, they formed a duo and released a medley ofEd Sheeran songs to raise funds for terminally ill children and young adults at a local hospice.[4] In 2017, the pair auditioned for thefourteenth series ofThe X Factor.[5] They progressed through to the "judges' houses" portion of the competition, where they were eliminated by mentorSimon Cowell. However, they were voted to join the live shows by the general public, as a "wildcard" act.[6] They finished in twelfth place, after being eliminated in the third week of the competition.[7]
In 2023, alongsideAsh Holme, who he had met onThe X Factor, Remmington co-presentedFor You Page onBBC Radio 1 onChristmas.[8] Then, since 2024, he has starred inThe Jack and Ash Show, a YouTube series, alongside Holme.[9] In 2024, he became the co-presenter ofFamously... In Love, aBBC Sounds podcast, alongside Sarel.[10] In early 2025, Remmington co-hosted the red carpet digital content for theBritish Academy Film Awards, alongside Holme.[11] Remmington and Holme returned as presenters for BBC Radio 1,[12] in the early morning breakfast slot, in October 2025.[13][14] October 2025 also saw the pair become faces for aneBay campaign.[15] That same month, Remmington was a panellist onITV2'sBig Brother: Late & Live.[16]
