Jack Cashin Doherty (bornJack Colin Doherty; 2003) is an American internet personality andonline streamer best known for performing stunts and pranks. He first rose to prominence in 2016 after his early flipping videos. His channel saw a major surge in 2017 following the success of a video of himselfflipping water bottles, a video that further boosted his subscriber growth and helped push him into mainstream YouTube popularity.
Doherty has since become a controversial internet figure due to his pranks involving frequent public altercations, high-profile disputes, and several incidents related to his livestreams and personal conduct.
Doherty's first video, which featured him flippingmarkers, quickly gained popularity after it was uploaded in 2016; it amassed 29 million views by October 2024.[1] His early content primarily consisted of flipping various objects, from markers towater bottles.[2] In 2017, Doherty uploaded a video titled "I FLIPPED ALL OF THESE!!", that went viral, significantly boosting his subscriber count and establishing him as a prominent YouTuber.[3][4]
In October 2023, Doherty attendedDavid Dobrik's Halloween party, where he was involved in a verbal altercation with other guests. The situation escalated when his bodyguard allegedly attacked one of the guests, leading to a lawsuit for assault and battery filed on February 21, 2024.[5][6]
In 2024, during a live stream, Dohertyhydroplaned along a Miami highway, crashing hisMcLaren 570S while looking at his phone while driving. This led to his ban from the streaming platform Kick, and his cameraman, Michael, receiving stitches on his head for his injuries.[7][8] Doherty was cited byFlorida Highway Patrol for using a wireless communication device while driving.[9] In 2025, he was unbanned from Kick,[10] but he was banned again nine days later following a fight between him, his security, and a heckler which was livestreamed on the platform.[11] In late February 2025, Doherty broke hiscollarbone during a failed biking stunt, stating that it was his "worst accident yet".[12]
In October 2023, at David Dobrik's Halloween party in Los Angeles, Doherty's bodyguard allegedly punched guest Chase Cameron Gardella after a confrontation outside the event.[13] Gardella sued Doherty, his companies, and the bodyguard in February 2024 in Van Nuys Superior Court for assault, battery, negligence, negligent hiring/supervision, aiding and abetting, unjust enrichment, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. The complaint claims Doherty incited a "2 vs 2" fight, the bodyguard then knocked Gardella down, and Doherty livestreamed and reposted the assault on Kick, YouTube, X, and TikTok, using it as content. Doherty has moved to dismiss the claims against him, arguing the bodyguard acted independently and outside the scope of his duties, and that Doherty did not throw the punch.[14]
On November 14, 2025, Doherty was arrested inMiami Beach, Florida, for traffic stunts, possession of a controlled substance (amphetamine),[15] possession ofmarijuana, and resisting an officer without violence.[16] Police say the arrest occurred after Doherty refused to move his vehicle despite blocking traffic.[17][18] On November 15, 2025, Doherty was released on $3,500bail and set to appear in court at a later date.[19][20] Doherty recalled his time in jail as "the worst 24-hours ever".[21]
