J. Michael Steele

American mathematician

John Michael Steele is C.F. Koo Professor ofStatistics at theWharton School of theUniversity of Pennsylvania, and he was previously affiliated withStanford University,Columbia University andPrinceton University.

Steele was elected the 2009 president of theInstitute of Mathematical Statistics.
