Jürgen Henze (born 23 June 1950 inSchkopau)[1] is a formerEast Germanslalom canoeist who competed in the 1970s.

He won a gold medal in the C2 team event at the1975 inSkopje. Henze also finished 18th in theC2 event at the1972 Summer Olympics inMunich.[2]

His partner in the boat wasHerbert Fischer.

His two sonsFrank andStefan were also slalom canoeists. Both representedreunifiedGermany in the Olympics unlike their father who only competed for the now dissolved East Germany. Stefan was a silver medalist from theC2 event at the2004 Summer Olympics inAthens.
