Ivanka pri Nitre (Hungarian:Nyitraivánka) is avillage andmunicipality in theNitra District in western centralSlovakia, in theNitra Region.[4]
Inhistorical records the village was first mentioned in 1400. The ByzantineMonomachus crown was unearthed there in 1860 by a farmer ploughing in what was then Nyitraivánka in theKingdom of Hungary.
Thevillage lies at analtitude of 146 metres and covers anarea of 14.909 km². It has apopulation of about 2415 people.
