Ivan Petrovych Klymenko (Ukrainian:Іван Петрович Клименко; born 20 January 1987) is a Ukrainian music producer and songwriter. He is known for writing several tracks that have competed to beUkraine's entry in theEurovision Song Contest, including the song "Stefania" which won theEurovision Song Contest 2022.[1]

Biography

Klymenko was born inKyiv.[2] Early on in his career, he was a street musician in China.[3] Klymenko founded the band "Salto Nazad" and the label "Enko".[4] He has worked withKalush Orchestra,Jamala,Alyona Alyona,Jerry Heil,Kola,Skofka, Kozak Siromaha[2] and is the author of more than 300 tracks,[5] including Ukrainian-language singles byDorofeeva, "Chuty Himn" (Skofka), "Zori" (Kalush).[2] As of June 2023, 20 of his songs were on theApple Music Ukraine Top 100 chart.[5] Klymenko invented the character of KylymMen, who has contributed to the Kalush Orchestra band.[2]

In 2023, he became a coach on the13th season ofHolos Krainy alongsideDorofeeva,Artem Pyvovarov, andJulia Sanina,[4] where he was the first non-singer coach on the show.[citation needed]
