TheItaly national futsal team representsItaly in internationalfutsal competitions such as theFIFA Futsal World Cup and theEuropean Championships and is controlled by theItalian Football Federation. It is one of the strongest teams inEurope, champions in the2003 UEFA Futsal Championship andUEFA Futsal Euro 2014.[2] Italy has also come in second place at the2004 FIFA Futsal World Cup, as well as third place in the2008 and2012 editions.
