Issei Yamamoto (山本一清,Yamamoto Issei; 1889–1959) was a Japaneseastronomer and professor atKyoto University. In 1920, he became first president of theOriental Astronomical Association [ja]. He was director of theKwasan Observatory inKyoto.[1]
