Isotta Sportelli (born 2 January 2000) is an Italiansynchronised swimmer.[1] She competed at the2024 Summer Olympics, the2023 and2024 World Aquatics Championships, and the2023 European Games.[1] She was a part of the Italian junior national team from 2016 to 2018, and has since graduated to the national team.[2]
Sportelli was born inRome,Italy, to her parents Vincenzo and Monica Sportelli.[1] She is the youngest of five children. All four of her brothers playwater polo, with her being the only sibling to "[choose] synchronized swimming from the age of five."[3]
She has competed at theWorld Junior Championships, theEuropean Junior Championships, and theEuropean Cup.[2] She has also won two silver medals at the 2016FINA World Trophy tournament inYangzhou,China.[4]
In 2021, Sportelli won a bronze medal in the mixed duet competition at theEuropean Aquatics Championships inBudapest,Hungary, with her partnerNicolò Ogliari.[3][5]
As of 2021, she attended theSapienza University in Rome, studyingPharmacy.[3]
