Isog[1] (possibly fromQuechuaisu skin sickness caused by a certainmite (mange),-q asuffix)[2][3] is an archaeological site inPeru. It is situated in theHuánuco Region,Huamalíes Province,Tantamayo District. The site was declared a National Cultural Heritage byResolución Directoral No. 533/INC on June 18, 2002.[1]
Isog lies on the northern slope of the mountainSusupillo, which is also the name of the archaeological site south of Isog.
