Isis River, aperennial river of theHunter River catchment, is located in theUpper Hunter region ofNew South Wales,Australia.
Isis River rises on the southern slopes of theGreat Dividing Range, belowCrawney Mountain, northeast ofMurrurundi and flows generally south, joined by two minortributaries before reaching itsconfluence with thePages River near Belltrees, northeast ofScone. The river descends 440 metres (1,440 ft) over its 70-kilometre (43 mi)course.[2]
