Maria Rochelle "Ishie" Lalongisip (born December 30, 2001[1]) is a Filipino volleyball player, who played for theAdamson Lady Falcons in theUniversity Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) before turning professional as an opposite hitter for theCignal HD Spikers in thePremier Volleyball League (PVL).
She was a former team captain of theLady Baby Falcons ofAdamson University.
First a volleyball player in her seventh grade, Lalongisip was part of the Batangas delegation in regional tournaments.[2]
Lalongisip played for theAdamson Lady Baby Falcons in theUAAP and became the team captain for two seasons beginning2018.[3]
Lalongisip led theLady Falcons in their first win in Season 86 over theUP Lady Maroons on February 24, 2024.[4]
Lalongisip was drafted 7th overall by theCignal HD Spikers in the first round of thePVL Draft on July 8, 2024.[1][5][6]
On February 1, 2025, Lalongisip reset her career-high with 19 points, all off attacks, in Cignal's five-set loss to the unbeaten defending championCreamline Cool Smashers.[7][8]
After the PVL Press Corps gave her the Player of the Week honors, Lalongisip topscored with 20 points as the rookie led theHD Spikers win over theZUS Coffee Thunderbelles in five sets on February 13, 2025.[9][10]
Lalongisip was raised inBatangas. Volleyball became part of her early lifestyle in the province as her volleyball player-mother was her influence.[11]
