Iron Spade andIron Wall[1] are the codenames given toIsrael's effort to prevent offensive tunnels being built from theGaza Strip into Israel.[2] It is reported to be based in part on theIron Dome project.[3] The primary developer of the project isElbit Systems, withRafael, developers of Iron Dome also involved in the project.[4]
