Iron Dawn is afantasy novel written byMatthew Woodring Stover, and published in 1997 byRoc Books.[1]

Set a decade after the fall ofTroy, the novel tells the tale of threemercenaries who fight to stop an evilnecromancer from taking over the city ofTyre.
