Irina Müller (laterWeiße, born 10 October 1951) is a Germanrower, who won the gold medal at the1976 Summer Olympics and was a member of theSG Dynamo Potsdam.[1][2]

Müller was born inLeipzig; sources vary whether the birth year was 1950[3] or 1951.[4]

Immediately after the 1976 Summer Olympics, she married fellow rowerStefan Weiße. As Irina Weiße, she was awarded aPatriotic Order of Merit in silver in September 1976.[5] She was an informer for theStasi under the codename "Ines".[6]
