Iran (officially called theIslamic Republic of Iran) is currently competing at the2026 Winter Olympics inMilan andCortina d'Ampezzo, Italy, from 6 to 22 February 2026.
Iran's team consisted of four athletes (two per gender) competing in two sports.[1]
Following the2026 Iran massacres amid the2025–2026 Iranian protests, activists called on the IOC to ban the Iranian team from the 2026 Winter Olympics.[2][3][4]
