Intelsat 1R (formerlyPAS-1R) is acommunications satellite owned byIntelsat located at 50° West oflongitude, servingAmericas, theCaribbean,Europe andAfrica. The satellite was replaced byIntelsat 14 at 45° West in 2010 and moved to 50° West, where it was finally replaced byIntelsat 29e.
