TheInstitut de l'information scientifique et technique, orINIST (English:Institute of Scientific and Technical Information) is theCNRS centre of documentation located inFrance. It has as mission to collect, treat and diffuse results of scientific and technical research. The INIST produces threebibliographicmultilingual andmultidisciplinarydatabases:PASCAL,FRANCIS, andDOGE. It is based atVandœuvre-lès-Nancy, in a building designed byJean Nouvel. In addition, INIST publishes a number ofelectronic journals.
