Innes Cameron (born 22 August 2000) is a Scottish professionalfootballer who plays as astriker forScottish Premiership clubKilmarnock. Cameron has also played forStranraer,Ayr United,Alloa Athletic andQueen of the South in various loan spells.
Cameron started his senior career withKilmarnock in the 2016–17 season.[1] In September 2018, Cameron was loaned out toStranraer alongsideDaniel Higgins[2] and scored on his debut.[3]
In October 2020, Cameron was then loaned out toAyr United.[4] In January 2021, Cameron was then loaned out toAlloa Athletic until 31 May 2021.[5]
On 30 September 2021, Cameron was loaned out toQueen of the South.[6] On 13 January 2022, Cameron was recalled by Kilmarnock's new managerDerek McInnes, due to the club having injuries to several key players.[7] On 31 January 2022, Cameron returned to Queen of the South on loan for the rest of the2021–22 season.[8]
Cameron has represented Scotland atunder-17 level.[9][10]
