Thenorthern frog (Ingerana borealis), or theRotung oriental frog is a species offrog in the familyDicroglossidae. It is found inBangladesh,Bhutan, northeasternIndia,Tibet,Nepal, and westernMyanmar.[2]

Its naturalhabitats are small, still waters and slow-moving waters in tropical moist forests. It is threatened by pollution due to agrochemicals but also byhabitat loss and degradation.[1]
