TheIndia Open is an annualbadminton event which has been held inIndia since 2008 and is aBWF World Tour Super 750 international badminton tournament.[1] Its first three editions were designated asGrand Prix Gold events. In 2011, it was upgraded to aBWF Superseries tournament.[2] From 2011 until 2019, it was held annually at theSiri Fort Sports Complex,New Delhi.[3]TheBWF categorised India Open as one of the sevenBWF World Tour Super 500 events as per the event structure since2018. The India Open has been upgraded to aBWF World Tour Super 750 event as of2023.[1]
