Inchture Tramways operated a horse-drawntramway service inInchture between 1849 and 1916.[1]
The tramway ran from the village ofinchture toInchture Village railway station on theDundee and Perth Railway line.
The service was closed in 1916 and the tracks were taken to France to assist in the war effort.
