It ismonotypic within the genusIncana.^[2] It isendemic toSocotra.^[1] Its naturalhabitats aresubtropical or tropical dry shrubland andsubtropical ortropical high-altitude shrubland.^[1] It is threatened byhabitat loss.^[1]
