TheInanwatan people are anethnic group that inhabits the southern coast of theDoberai Peninsula, especially in the district ofInanwatan and several surrounding districts in the province ofSouthwest Papua, Indonesia.[2] The distribution area of the Inanwatan people borders theKokoda people in the east and theTehit people in the west and north.[3]
The Inanwatan people is included in the Imekko peoples which is the indigenous population ofSouth Sorong Regency, the others are Matemani, Kais, and Kokoda.[4]
