Ilyas Gull[1] (born 1 January 1968) is a Pakistani-born Hong Kong formercricketer. He was named captain of theHong Kong cricket team for the2007 ICC World Cricket League Division Three tournament, whenTim Smart resigned the captaincy.
Gull was born on 1 January 1968, inRawalpindi,Pakistan.
His bestOne Day International bowling performance, 3–46, came on his ODI debut againstBangladesh atColombo in 2004;[2] as of 2007, he remains the only Hong Kong player to take three wickets in an ODI. Infirst-class cricket, he took 5-16 for Hong Kong against theUAE atSharjah in the2005 ICC Intercontinental Cup.[3]
