Former collegiate American football conference
TheIllini–Badger Football Conference (IBFC) was an athletic conference with theNCAA'sDivision III. Member teams were located inIllinois andWisconsin. As the name indicates, member teams only competed infootball. They participated in other athletic conferences in other sports. The conference's last season was in 2007.
In 1989, the conference changed its name to theIllini–Badger–Hawkeye Football Conference and added four new members:Blackburn College inCarlinville, Illinois, Greenville College—now known asGreenville University—inGreenville, Illinois,MacMurray College inJacksonville, Illinois, and Iowa Wesleyan College—now known asIowa Wesleyan University—inMount Pleasant, Iowa.[1]
