Ilha Solteira is a municipality in the state ofSão Paulo inBrazil. The population is 26,788 (2020 est.) in an area of 653 km2 (252 sq mi).[2] The elevation is 335 m. The nearbyIlha Solteira Dam created a reservoir in theParaná River.
In telecommunications, the city was served byCompanhia de Telecomunicações do Estado de São Paulo until 1975, when it began to be served byTelecomunicações de São Paulo.[3] In July 1998, this company was acquired by Telefónica, which adopted theVivo brand in 2012.[4]
The company is currently an operator of cell phones, fixed lines, internet (fiber optics/4G) and television (satellite and cable).[4]
