The film starsShankar Nag,Anant Nag,Srinath,Revathi (in her Kannada debut),Devaraj, Kavya,Disco Shanti,Mahalakshmi,Ramesh Aravind,Tiger Prabhakar andBheeman Raghu. It is inspired from the 1987 Italian filmStage Fright. The music was composed by Vijayanand, while cinematography and editing were handled by Dinesh Babu andSuresh Urs.
Idu Saadhya created a world record by becoming the first film to be shot within a span of 36 hours.[1][2][3]
