Idea art is anart form in which small individualideas take precedence over grandconcepts or ideologies and genericaesthetic, material and disciplinary concerns. The artist works not only like anarchitect or an engineer, as in the case ofconceptual art, but also like acurator or an art writer.
Works of idea art may be in any medium.
The method was fundamental to Turkish artistGenco Gulan's definition of idea art, one of the first to appear online.[1]
