Ide (Ancient Greek:Ἴδη) was anancient Greek[1] city located inancient Thrace, located in the region of theThracian Chersonesus. It is cited in thePeriplus of Pseudo-Scylax, in the second position of its recitation of the towns of the Thracian Chersonesus, along withCardia, Ide,Paeon,Alopeconnesus,Araplus,Elaeus andSestos.[2]
Its site is located 4 miles (6.5 km) west ofBolayir,Çanakkale Province,Turkey.[3][4]
