Icknield is a parliamentaryward, of theLuton district, in the town ofLuton,Bedfordshire, England. The ward takes its name from theIcknield Way, a pre-Roman road which passes through Luton. Situated towards the northeast of Luton, the ward is made up of parts ofRunfold andWarden Hill, as well asBushmead.
Icknield ward is represented by Cllr Asif Masood(Labour) and Cllr Jeff Petts(Conservative).[2]
The ward forms part of theparliamentary constituency ofLuton North and the MP isSarah Owen (Labour).
