Ibrahimpatnam is a suburb ofHyderabad inRanga Reddy district of theIndian state ofTelangana. Offices of many IT companies are located around Ibrahimpatnam. It is located in Ibrahimpatnammandal of Ibrahimpatnamrevenue division.[2]
The suburb is named afterIbrahim Qutb Shah who had built a lake known asIbrahim Cheruvu. The settlement that grew around the lake came to be known as Ibrahimpatnam.[3]
