For Al-Tamimi, the 10th century physician, seeAl-Tamimi, the physician.

Ibn Abi Ramtha al-Tamimi (Arabic:ابن أبي رمثة التميمي), fromBanu Tamim tribe, was aphysician who lived during the lifetime of theIslamic prophetMuhammad. He was a skilful practitioner who occasionally practised surgery.[1][2]
