ITV Quiz is a Britishfree-to-airtelevision channel owned byITV plc. The channel was launched on 9 June 2025, replacing former sister channelITVBe. The channel primarily airs reruns ofgame shows produced for ITV.
On 16 April 2025, ITV plc announced a newgame show–oriented channel known as ITV Quiz and would replace ITVBe’s channel space in June.[1][2][3] The new channel's schedule would primarily be focused on reruns of ITV game shows; it had been reported that game show channels were among the most popularfree ad–supported streaming television (FAST) channels on ITVX.[4]
The channel's format is unrelated to that of the short-livedITV Play channel, which focused exclusively onphone-in shows usingpremium-rate calls, and shut down amidscandals surrounding such programmes.[5]
ITV Quiz launched on 9 June 2025, replacing ITVBe in its channel slots; its launch lineup featured recent ITV game shows such asStephen Mulhern'sDeal or No Deal,Lingo,Tenable,Tipping Point,Graham Norton'sWheel of Fortune, andJeremy Clarkson'sWho Wants to Be a Millionaire?[4] It competes primarily withSky's long-running FTA channelChallenge, which itself carries ITV's game shows such asThe Chase,Cash Trapped,5 Gold Rings,The Cube, andRoy Walker'sCatchphrase.[4]
As with the other ITV channels, ITV Quiz features its own edition ofUnwind with ITV, which shares the channel's late night hours withteleshopping.
