TheChambri language is spoken by theChambri people of theChambri Lakes region in theSepik basin of northernPapua New Guinea. Spellings in the older anthropological literature includeTchambuli, Tshamberi. Being completely surrounded by theSepik languages, it is geographically separated from the rest of theRamu–Lower Sepik language family, of which Chambri is a member.[2]
