TheIIE MSA, formerly known asMonash South Africa, is auniversity located inJohannesburg,Gauteng,South Africa.[1]
The IIE MSA was founded in 2001 as Monash South Africa byMonash University, an Australian university named after acivil engineer,John Monash.[2]
The university was built on an agricultural land in Ruimsig, Roodeport. The first class intake at the IIE MSA was ingeography andenvironmental sciences.[3]
In 2019, it was renamed as IIE MSA after becoming part ofThe Independent Institute of Education.[2]
The institution comprises two faculties, namely The Faculty of Business, Engineering and Technology; and The Faculty of Social and Health Sciences.[citation needed]
The IIE MSA offers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, as well as short learning programs.[citation needed]
