IGR J17329-2731[1] as described byEuropean Space Agencyastronomers is a single fainttransientX-ray source (ATel #10644) observed withSwift/XRT on 16 August 2017 from 2:26 to 2:45UTC with an effective exposure of time of 1ks. It was detected within the positional uncertainty provided byINTEGRAL IBIS imagery.[2] It was described as thebirth of asymbioticX-ray binary,[1] a "first" in the lifecycle of aninteracting binary star, or a zombieneutron star brought back to life by its neighboringred giant. When first described in 2017, it was seen as anX-ray flare "from an unknownsource" in the direction from thegalactic (Milky Way) center.[3]
