Teams would have competed for a USD $1,000,000 prize.

Driver entries

[edit]

The i1 Super Series confirmed a driver roster during the series launch atYas Marina in December 2011, though no drivers were assigned to individual teams.[5] Instead, drivers were placed into a pool, with teams selecting their drivers ahead of each round in the championship.

Subsequent delays to a 2012 season to 2013 would have required a new roster.
