I, Claudius is a six-part 2010 radio adaptation ofRobert Graves' 1934 novelI, Claudius and its 1935 sequelClaudius the God. Broadcast as part of theClassic Serial strand onBBC Radio 4, it was adapted byRobin Brooks and directed byJonquil Panting, with music composed by David Pickvance. Claudius was played byTom Goodman-Hill and the series' cast is also notable for includingDerek Jacobi, who played Claudius in the1976 BBC TV adaptation of the same works, now in the role ofAugustus. The series was released as a BBC Audiobook on 6 January 2011.[1] It won the 2012Audie Award in the "Audio Dramatization" category.[2][3]
